The Homes and Communities Agency
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is the single, national housing and regeneration delivery agency for England. Our vision is to create oppourtunity for people to live in homes they can afford in places they want to live, by enabling local authorities and communities to deliver the ambition they have for their own areas.
The HCA London Board, which is chaired by the Mayor, oversees and directs the investment programme of the Agency in the capital. It plays a crucial role in the delivery of the London Housing Strategy and ensures a coordinated approach to housing and regeneration across all the London Boroughs.
The HCA is overseeing the creation of a vibrant new urban quarter on Greenwich Peninsula. This involves enhancing the transport network and delivering new homes, commercial space and community facilities in a riverside setting. Greenwich Peninsula is also home to Greenwich Millennium Village (GMV).
