Built in Safety
We are working with architects and developers who have a track record of delivering safe environments because one of our important long term commitments is to create the best possible quality of life for everyone on Greenwich Peninsula. Our designs conform to the UK Police flagship initiative for residential crime prevention, Secured by Design.
The design of the buildings and the common areas all take safety into account; our aim is for Greenwich Peninsula to be a safe and secure neighbourhood.
Active safety
We’re establishing a peninsula management team whose remit will be to make certain that the whole neighbourhood is safe, clean and properly looked after.
The team will:
- be highly visible
- ensure that all public spaces - roads, pathways, squares, eco-corridors and common areas - are maintained to the highest standards
- manage the surveillance systems
- get to know and build relationships with members of the community
Construction safety
All building work will be carried out in accordance with best practice; we put the health and safety of our building workers first in everything.
