Local business opportunities
Greenwich Peninsula will be a lively place with thousands of people living, working and visiting here.
That adds up to a plentiful opportunity for local companies looking to win contracts and expand their business. The value of local contracts awarded between 2005 and 2007 at the peninsula was over £1 million and as activity grows, so will the prospect for local businesses.
These companies will be given opportunities to tender through an initiative established with Greenwich Local Labour & Business, South East London Chamber of Commerce and South East Enterprise to share information. This will include access to the latest site plans and also to a pool of possible employees to support local business development.
Launching in early 2008 is Peninsula Pages, a new business directory promoting local businesses and services in anticipation of the next phase of the development. To register free for Peninsula Pages contact South East Enterprise or register online with our Peninsula Pages Signup process.
