Greenwich Peninsula is being developed by Lend Lease and Quintain Estates and Development PLC in joint venture as Meridian Delta Limited, chosen by English Partnerships and the UK government to lead London’s single largest regeneration scheme.
Lend Lease
Founded in Australia in the 1950s and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, Lend Lease is a leading real estate specialist creating, enhancing and managing real estate assets around the world.
In the UK its business is focused primarily on the delivery of large scale, retail led, mixed-use schemes aimed at the regeneration of town centres and major urban sites.
Lend Lease provides cohesive in-house solutions for mixed-use developments, from planning and consultation to development, funding, construction and asset management.
Quintain Estates and Development PLC
Quintain is a leading property investment and development company that specialises in strategic property acquisition, redevelopment, asset management and regeneration across the UK in all sectors. Quintain operates through three business segments - fund management, property investment and urban regeneration.
Quintain is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a FTSE 250 company.
English Partnerships
English Partnerships is the national regeneration agency helping the government to support high quality, sustainable growth in England. Since purchasing the 300 acre site on Greenwich Peninsula in 1997, the agency has spent over £225m on remediation, landscaping, infrastructure and masterplanning. Working closely with public and private sector partners, English Partnerships are helping to create a vibrant new urban quarter for London by enhancing the transport network and creating new homes, commercial space and community facilities in a riverside setting.
Greenwich Peninsula is also home to Greenwich Millennium Village (GMV), one of seven Millennium Communities being delivered by English Partnerships across the country. GMV features mixed-tenure homes, good transport links, access to parkland and local services, such as a primary school and health centre, all of which make the community sustainable.
English Partnerships and the Housing Corporation are working with the Department for Communities and Local Government to establish the proposed new homes agency.

AEG Europe is one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world. It owns and operates some of the world’s best arenas and theatres and numerous sports franchises as well as a collection of companies dedicated to producing, promoting and presenting world-class live entertainment.
In May 2005, AEG Europe announced that it had joined forces with O2 to help transform the former Millennium Dome and the surrounding area into the UK’s most exciting and technically advanced music, sport and entertainment destination. It has been renamed ‘The O2’ and the opening season began on 24 June 2007.
