Greenwich Peninsula Community Fund

Knight Dragon brought together local community organisations, businesses and stakeholders to celebrate the launch of the Greenwich Peninsula Community Fund. The Fund has been established to support local projects and provide opportunities for the community to engage, influence, and contribute to the positive development of the Peninsula as it grows over the next 20 years.

As Europe’s largest single regeneration project, and with more than 5,000 people already calling the Peninsula home, we are committed to investing in our community and this exciting milestone reflects that long-term ambition. Over the last three years, £25million+ of social value has been delivered through local employment, charitable donations, and environmental initiatives and this is the next step in our commitment to support community development.

In partnership with The London Community Foundation and supported by a panel of representatives from the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the Greater London Authority and affordable housing provider L&Q, the fund provided grants for local community groups, volunteer groups, environmental projects, wellbeing and educational services across the Peninsula.
