Find some pre-loved gems at Charity Super.Mkt
Charity Super.Mkt is coming to Greenwich Peninsula.
One of fashion’s most sought-after pop-ups (and the UK’s first-ever multi-charity shop), Charity Super.Mkt brings together the best of second-hand fashion from a revolving roster of charities including Traid, Shelter and Havens Hospices.
It also proves that charity shops can be a thriving alternative to fast fashion, an industry responsible for 8–10% of global carbon emissions (more than aviation and shipping combined, according to the UN).
Founded by retail changemaker Maria Chenoweth (CEO of Traid) and designer Wayne Hemingway (who started his career as a designer by selling second-hand clothes in Camden Market before founding fashion label Red or Dead and creative agency HemingwayDesign), Charity Super.Mkt aims to make second-hand shopping more accessible and fun while stopping clothes from ending up in landfill (105,109kg saved and counting…).
The brand has made over £3.5 million in sales with pop-ups spanning London, Edinburgh, Leeds and Sheffield since its launch in 2023. Intrigued? Then it’s time to get your fashion antennae tingling and uncover some gorgeous finds.
10 July–31 August at NOW Gallery, Greenwich Peninsula; charitysupermkt.com
