Join resident artist Pragya Kumar for an uplifting evening of mindful art-making at Firepit, where we’ll use visual storytelling to spark connection, reflection and wellbeing.

Take time for yourself and explore the gentle power of creativity. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already creative, this relaxed, judgement-free session invites you to unwind, express and discover through art.

What to expect:

  • A grounding exercise to ease into the session.
  • Hands-on exploration of narrative art — visual storytelling using colour, form and imagination.
  • Space to reflect, share and connect.
  • A range of art materials are provided.

Important information:

  • Arrive 10 minutes early for a prompt 6:00pm start.
  • No experience needed — open to all skill levels.
  • Feel free to bring any favourite tools, papers or materials.
  • Donations are welcome to help cover the cost of materials and keep the workshops running.
  • Open to people aged 18 and over.

About the event:

Led by Pragya Kumar, a Firepit artist who champions creativity as a tool for connection and self-care, these monthly sessions are an invitation to explore how art can quiet the mind, tell a story and bring people together.
