Greenwich Peninsula Chess Club is thrilled to be part of Urban Village Fete 2025, bringing chess to players of all levels.

Around 20 chess boards will be set up, with volunteers on hand to teach beginners the rules or guide experienced players through strategies and opening theory.

Test your skills against one of the UK’s leading Grand Masters in a fast-paced blitz challenge (details at www.gpchess.com/events).

Giveaways for children and plenty of information on chess events throughout the year.

All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
