NOW Gallery has invited Teddyland to host a one-of-a-kind teddy-making experience in dialogue with Charlotte Mei’s Like a Melody: Myths, Memories and Fantasy.
Enter the fantastical world of Teddyland and create your own hybrid teddy to treasure for life. In this up-cycling workshop, visitors are encouraged to transform pre-loved teddies into unique otherworldly creations. Celebrating nostalgia and the power of imagination,
Teddyland explores character building as a means of playful escapism. Amidst the mystical creatures that make up Charlotte Mei’s universe, this an opportunity to create your own plushie protagonist.
Join one of three workshop sessions with all materials, equipment and teddies provided. If you have a favourite teddy you would like to work with, please bring it along.
Workshops are open to all skill levels and ages.
