Photo Tips: Courage, Identity & Creative Practice (online)
The Photography Foundation's Photo Tips online talk series offers a safe digital learning environment for the photography community worldwide. These sessions provide insight, inspiration, and open dialogue with industry professionals and creative community members.
🎤 This months online talk is led by award-winning photographer Lisa Marie Asubonteng.
Lisa will explore how photographic practice can engage with themes of cultural heritage, representation, and resilience, while also offering insight into pursuing funding for a sustainable and meaningful creative career.
✨Lisa Marie will draw from her project “The Holy Women”, which highlights the strength and resilience of survivors of sexual violence, and will share her experience navigating sensitive subjects with care, depth, and impact.
🌍 This talk is also a special celebration of Refugee Week (15-21 June 2026) and this year’s theme of “Courage”.
