
Photography Zine-Making Workshop: Reflecting on Community as a Superpower
Explore identity, belonging and creativity through the art of zine-making in this one-off evening workshop led by documentary photographer and visual storyteller Zula Rabikowska.
Timed with Refugee Week 2025, and its theme “Community as a Superpower,” this session invites you to reflect on the strength found in connection — and to express it through image, colour, collage and composition.
What to expect:
– Visual prompts and inspiration from Zula’s practice
– Guided zine-making using upcycled materials and printed imagery
– A relaxed space for discussion, reflection and self-expression
– All materials provided — just bring your ideas
– Leave with your own hand-crafted zine

Led by Zula Rabikowska – award-winning photographer whose work explores migration, identity, and LGBTQI+ communities. Published in The Guardian, Rolling Stone and Bloomberg, she brings a thoughtful, community-first approach to everything she does.
This workshop is perfect for beginners aged 16+, venue is accessible with lift access and WC. All profits support The Photography Foundation’s charitable programmes.
