Spring into Action: Photography Storytelling Workshop
Step into a 3-hour, relaxed photography workshop at The Photography Foundation. Designed to help you craft powerful photographic stories through composition, styling, and intention, this workshop will guide you through the decision-making process behind visual storytelling.
Curated and led by CTRL+CREATE’s cohort mentor Safeen James, you’ll explore angles, framing, directing subjects, and building mood and atmosphere.
Safeen will begin by looking at examples of photography with strong storytelling. Then, you’ll move into short exercises to define your message and develop visual references using sketches or existing imagery.
Following this, it will be time to experiment and shoot within two styled spring set-ups. Your captured images will be shared with you after the workshop.
No prior experience needed, we invite both beginner and advanced photographers to join.
