Art and Culture at Greenwich Peninsula
Art and culture are woven into the fabric of Greenwich Peninsula, and it all started with NOW Gallery. For over a decade, NOW Gallery, curated by Jemima Burrill and Kaia Charles, was a vital platform for a growing community and celebrated visionaries such as Camille Walala, Nicholas Daley, Molly Goddard, Hattie Stewart, Yinka Ilori, Robyn Lynch, Lydia Chan amongst many other innovators.
Now, with more than 5,500 people living at Greenwich Peninsula, 180+ businesses choosing to work here and more than 24 million people visiting every year, we are looking to the future and moving into a new phase. NOW Gallery has closed its doors for the last time, but art and culture remain in abundance across the Peninsula.
From Firepit Art Gallery & Studios, with 12 resident artists exhibiting world-class work and hosting a variety of creative workshops, to a free public art trail comprising the largest collection of free-to-view Damien Hirst sculptures; creativity and inspiration exists in every nook and cranny.
