On booking your free ticket, colouring chalks will be available for you to pick up from the NOW Gallery (located next to the mandala) between the hours of 10am - 5pm on Saturday and 11am - 4pm on Sunday. Please ensure these chalks are returned to the NOW Gallery for others to use.
Greenwich Peninsula is collaborating with graphic artist MURUGIAH as part of London Design Festival in celebration of Diwali, the festival of light. The piece will connect the Peninsula’s growing communities and is part of one of the largest collections of free public artwork collections in London.
MURUGIAH seeks to continue his creative mission to explore the connections and juxtapositions of his Western Birth and upbringing with his South Asian heritage with: Rangoli Mirrored Cosmos - a vivid artwork representing the interconnectivity of existence; a diagram of the cosmos. This larger cosmos reflects ourselves, small universes suspended within an infinite one.
Hosted by The Big Draw - The worlds largest drawing festival.
