Let your child discover the joy of creativity at Firepit Art Gallery and Studios with the Jewelology Kids’ Creative Art Classes, a fun and nurturing workshop series designed for children aged 4–9.

What children will explore

Through a variety of imaginative projects, children will experiment with colour, design and storytelling while creating artworks inspired by their dreams and ideas. Activities may include:

  • Designing fantastical islands and imaginary characters
  • Creating self-portraits and expressive colour maps
  • Responding to music through visual art
  • Crafting jewellery and handmade pieces
  • Building underwater or rainforest-inspired scenes
  • Collaborating on large group murals

Art exploration programme

The course introduces young artists to three core creative areas:

Line Drawing  Children learn how to use points and lines to build shapes and forms, developing observation skills, spatial awareness and visual thinking through both image-based and real-life drawing.

Collage  Through playful shape-building, colour contrast and scene creation, children explore composition while strengthening storytelling, logical thinking and creative experimentation.

Colour  Using materials such as oil pastels, chalk, markers, poster paints and watercolours, children learn about colour relationships, layering techniques and how different materials behave.

End-of-year exhibition

In December 2026, participating children will have the opportunity to display their work in a special exhibition at Firepit Art Gallery and Studios, celebrating their creativity with family and friends.

The sessions are led by Octavia, an accomplished artist and designer with a Master’s degree in Art from University of the Arts London. With more than a decade of experience in art and design, she brings both professional expertise and a warm, supportive approach to teaching young creatives.
