Hannah’s artistic expression is deeply rooted in her cultural identity and experience. As a person of mixed Singaporean and British heritage her work delves into the reflection of the relationship between these two cultures in furniture design, objects, and architecture.
The focal point of Hannah's craft lies in the exploration of Chinoiserie—a trend from the eighteenth century involving the European interpretation and imitation of East Asian designs. Through her art, she explores and reinterprets cross-cultural design, connecting it to her own mixed heritage.
